Fruits de Ponent and its commitment to sustainability will be the protagonists of the Fruit Logistica 2020 fair, which this year focuses on the environmental and ethical challenges that companies in the fruit sector must face on a global scale.
Sustainability plays a key role in this 2020 edition, in which the Fruits de Ponent group will reveal what actions the company carries out in terms of energy efficiency and also optimization of resources. The reduction of the cost of water, the use of recyclable material, and the installation of photovoltaic panels to acquire solar energy; are some examples of actions that the group has taken in the last few days. These projects respond to a corporate signature and environmental commitment, which are also reflected in the agreement that unites the Fruits de Ponent group with the 2030 Agenda, and the sustainable development goals. Sustainability for the co-operative group is understood in a transversal way and is focused on all sectors of the company, from the internal sphere of operation of the company as well as the economic and environmental management of the group.
Fruits de Ponent’s proposal for sustainable agriculture and the presentation of their actions to align with the 2030 Agenda will be presented at this year’s edition of the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin, where the group will be located at the stand B-07, Hall: 8.2.
