The commercial director of Grup Cooperatiu Fruits de Ponent, José Luis López, participated this Thursday in the 33rd edition of the University-Business Conference: Logistics, digital transformation and innovation in the agri-food sector, which was held in the Auditorium of the Culture Center of the Cappont campus of the UdL.
López participated in the round table ‘Importance of logistics in Lleida. He present and future ‘, together with Josep Serveto, CEO at Serveto HQL, and Damas Gari, responsible for internal logistics maintenance of the Food Corporation of Guissona-bonÀrea Agrupa, acting as moderator Professor José Manuel Alonso.
The commercial director of Fruits de Ponent offered his vision on logistics applied to the fruit sector in the case of a company that, such as Grup Cooperatiu Fruits de Ponent, exports all over the world, and he did so from the point of view of sustainable logistics in every way, from the point of departure to the destination. In this sense, it should be remembered that Fruits de Ponent has a production potential of 55 million kilos of fruit and has a clear export vocation.
