Almond

The Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group also has an almond and other nuts area to help diversify production to guarantee the viability of the members’ businesses. This area has been gaining ground, especially thanks to the growth of almond plantations among its members.

Today, it has its own almond production of approximately one million kilograms and provides services to third parties for a volume of around four million. There are two centres for receiving and managing almonds, in Alcarràs and Alcanó.
