Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group has closed the double collaboration day with ‘Alcarràs Florit- L’explosió dels colors naturals’ with a very positive balance.
Fruits de Ponent has been one of the entities that has collaborated with the activities proposed by Alcarràs Florit in what has been its ninth edition, held during the first two weekends of March (5, 6, 12 and 13).
Within the program of each of these days, the collaboration of Fruits de Ponent was articulated through three ways: on the one hand, a technician from the Fruits de Ponent agronomic department offered a brief explanation about flowering and its characteristics and colors; on the other, some of the farms that the visitors toured were owned by members of the Grup Cooperatiu; and, finally, visits were also made to the Fruits de Ponent Agrostore in Alcarràs, a stay that included tastings of local products.
In addition, the proposals of the Grup Cooperatiu Fruits de Ponent have enjoyed the presence of different personalities. Thus, last Saturday morning, the president of the Parliament of Catalonia, Laura Borràs, and the Minister of Digital Policies and Territory, Jordi Puigneró, were accompanied by the president of the Grup Cooperatiu, Benjamí Ibars. All of them were able to enjoy the explanations of a technician from Fruits de Ponent regarding the flowering process and, at the end, they paid a visit to the Agrotienda de Alcarràs.
