Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group goes one step further in its path of commitment to society and the territory with the signing of the collaboration agreement with the Blood Donors Association of Segrià in order to promote projects and activities. to encourage the donation of blood and tissues to Alcarràs and Lleida.
The objectives of this alliance are to promote commitment and social responsibility in a key issue for health, to strengthen the work of the cooperative in the field of solidarity and commitment, to promote the Corporate Social Responsibility inherent in Fruits de Ponent, to collaborate in the improvement of the reserves of blood and tissues in Catalonia, and also to project and to spread the means and channels of communication the realized activities.
Initially, the agreement proposes different activities, such as, for example, the Grup Cooperatiu Fruits de Ponent collaborating in the four campaigns that are carried out annually in Alcarràs, providing fruit for donors. There is also a commitment to help in the form of dissemination and / or products with the Lleida Blood Donation Marathon which is held annually.
The agreement between the two entities will last for three years, with which the Cooperative Group strengthens ties with one of the leading entities in our society.
