The Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group appreciates its presence at the Fruit Logistica international fruit and vegetable fair, held on February 5, 6 and 7 in Berlin. In this edition, the professional team has attended to its customers and public from all over the world interested in its commercial catalog of stone fruit and pips, as well as other processed food products such as OKI JUICE juices and extra virgin oil.
One of the most important points to highlight in this fair have been the innovations in sustainability that Fruits de Ponent has presented, such as the photo-voltaic plant installed on the roof of the warehouses of its Confection Central, which will allow the company to self-supply with green energy and allocate surpluses to its partners. The actions that the company carries out in terms of energy efficiency and resource optimization, have also been represented in the group stand, where there is a space dedicated to the presentation of its actions to align with the 2030 Agenda and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
In short, this edition of the Fruit Logistica fair has been very productive for the cooperative group that has also been able to meet with the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Spanish embassy in the capital of Germany; both meetings have helped the group explain its concern for the bone fruit sector and the need to find solutions to improve the situation.
