The Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group has had the privilege of hosting a technical specialisation course in agricultural insurance, organised by Agricultural and Food Cooperatives of Spain and supported by the State Agrarian Insurance Agency (ENESA), under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food.
Amidst an ever more challenging climate context, protecting the future and viability of farm and fishing operations proves crucial. During the course, participants acquired a thorough understanding of the importance of farm insurance policies as a fundamental tool for facing current challenges. The course has also served to analyse the worrying scenario confronting these operations, putting their very viability in question.
To further enrich the experience, participants were given the chance to visit the Fruits de Ponent Fruit Processing Plant. This visit represented an opportunity to get a firsthand look at the reality of the fruit industry.
It was a session full of learning in which knowledge was exchanged, allowing us to look toward the future with greater confidence and determination. Aware of the importance of protecting the agricultural sector, they promised to do everything possible to guarantee its best protection.
