2015 is the year in which to consolidate the significant technological project which the fruit organisation, Fruits de Ponent, is undergoing. A change that is being led by those responsible for the company and by Aritmos, the technological consultancy and software factory in Lleida, and by means of which the co-operative is completely renewing the company management and administration system. In this respect, Fruits de Ponent is introducing various software tools and computer solutions to optimise the management of the various business areas of the co-operative, as well as to improve and streamline its everyday administration. It also aims to ensure the resulting traceability of the fruit products, as well as the prepared products handled by the organisation.
To carry out this vast technological project, the fruit farm organisation is working side by side with its Aritmos partner to introduce the Sage ERP X3 business solution (which has been made vertical and parameterised by the Lleida consultancy company), as well as the specialist vertical software for the fruit sector, developed by Aritmos on the above-mentioned ERP software. In fact, the project is being developed and introduced in phases in order to make the change towards the new business solution gradually.
With the Sage ERP X3 technological platform and with the multi-functional fruit farming software installed, Fruits de Ponent will offer a firm response to the company’s needs for expansion, improved co-operative management and optimisation of the internal production processes.
